She walked onto the America’s Got Talent stage looking completely relaxed.
Her outfit was simple, but there was one detail nobody could ignore.
In her hand was a large kitchen knife.
The audience immediately began whispering.
One judge leaned forward.
“Should we be worried?”
She smiled.
“Only if I make a mistake.”
The audience laughed nervously.
Then assistants rolled a large wooden table onto the stage. On top were vegetables, fruit and several covered containers.
Everyone assumed she was going to perform some kind of cooking demonstration.
The timer appeared on the screen.
60 seconds.
The music started.
Suddenly, she moved.
Her knife flew across the cutting board with astonishing speed. Within seconds, vegetables were perfectly sliced. She tossed ingredients into the air, catching and cutting them with incredible precision as the audience screamed.
But then things became much more dangerous.
She stepped away from the table.
An assistant placed several objects on stands across the stage.
She turned her back to them.
One judge immediately shouted, “Wait—what are you doing?!”
She raised the knife.
And threw it.
BANG!
It landed directly in the center of the first target.
The theater exploded.
Then she threw another.
Perfect.
Another.
Perfect again.
But for the finale, she asked for the stage lights to be turned off.
The judges stared at each other in disbelief.
Only the targets remained illuminated.
She took one final knife, closed her eyes and threw it.
For a terrifying second, nobody moved.
Then the lights came back on.
The knife was buried perfectly in the center of the final target.
She simply smiled and bowed.
The audience ERUPTED.
People jumped from their seats, screaming and applauding. One judge stood with both hands covering their mouth, while another could only stare at the stage in shock.
They had expected a strange cooking act.
Instead, they had spent the final seconds of her audition afraid to even blink.
