It was an unusual beginning to a performance. There was no towering piece of equipment, no elaborate box, and nothing that immediately explained what he was about to do.

The first impossible reveal
The performer raised the pink fabric, briefly hiding the goat from view. For a moment, the audience could see only his hands holding its upper corners.
Then he lowered it.
Where the goat had been, a young man appeared.

The return nobody could explain
For the final part of the sequence, the performer shifted attention from the pink cloth to the patterned fabric around his waist.
He lifted it, obscuring part of his body.
Then the goat reappeared, held across his shoulders.
The act had returned to the animal that began it—but everything in between left viewers with questions.
